# Knowledge Collections

 A Knowledge Collection is a collection of internal knowledge materials, including but not limited to: memos, FAQs and How-to guides, templates and playbooks, internal collections of precedents and much more.

 Once your collection has been created, you can run research tasks against this data by selecting 'Connect a Knowledge Collection' when on the [Ask a Research Question](https://support.vlex.com/features/vincent/ask-a-research-question) workflow.
